About Us

We are a church that includes people from all walks of life. We aim to connect people with God and help them grow their relationship with Jesus Christ. Whether you’re new to attending church or it has been your routine for years, we have a place for you. We come together each Sunday at 8:30 AM, 10:00 AM, and 11:30 AM to worship through contemporary music and engaging messages. We also meet throughout the week to participate in community organizations and recreational activities. Wear anything that makes you feel comfortable! Come dressed in jeans and a T-shirt or your Sunday best. We invite you to come as you are. Alamo Community Church is located on the far West side of San Antonio at 5354 Talley Rd.  When you arrive at ACC, you will be greeted by one of our friendly hospitality team members, ushered through our foyer, and guided with any help you may need. Our service times last approximately 65 minutes.

What We Believe

Our Mission

We exist to connect and reconnect people to God by leading them into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Practically speaking, this looks like…

Understanding God's purpose in the world and identifying our place in it.
Living more like Jesus happens best when we engage in a community of people who desire to do the same.
Discovering practical next steps that will bridge the gap between where we are and where God wants us to be.

The Bible

The entire Bible is the inspired Word of God given to us by the Spirit of God and penned through the hands of men. We believe the Bible to be without error or fault.

The Trinity

There is one God who exists in three distinct Persons (the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit). We believe that Jesus Christ is the second member of the Trinity (the Son of God) and that He became flesh to reveal God to man. We also believe that He ultimately offered His life as a sacrifice to reconcile the world to Himself.

Man was created in the image of God to have fellowship with Him, but became alienated from that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, we believe that man is totally incapable of coming back into a right relationship with God by his own effort.

Jesus Christ

The shed blood of Jesus Christ of the cross provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sins. Therefore, salvation only occurs when an individual places their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as the sufficient payment for their sin.

Living for Christ

Every Christian should live for Christ and not for themselves. We believe that by obedience to the Word of God and daily yielding to the Spirit of God, every believer can mature and be conformed to the image of Christ.

The Church

The church is the Body of Christ of which Jesus Christ is the head. We believe that its members are those who have trusted by faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. We believe that the purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving Him, and making Him known in this world.
